A search for a "TikTok nickname" usually means the name. If that is what you want, use whatever you like — there is nothing to satisfy.
Thirty days between changes
TikTok lets you change the username once every 30 days. A handle you pick in
a hurry is one you keep for a month, so generate more than you need and choose
the one you would still want then. Switching the separator between _, .
and none gives three different handles from the same two words.

What are TikTok's username rules?+

Username or name?+
Two fields. The name (display name) sits above your bio, can be anything including Cyrillic and emoji, and can be changed freely. The username is your @handle and the tiktok.com/@ link, and it is the one with rules. This page generates the username.
How often can I change my username?+
Once every 30 days. That is why it is worth generating a handful and choosing carefully rather than taking the first one and swapping it next week.
Are these usernames free?+
No generator can know. TikTok has over a billion accounts and short handles went long ago. Type a candidate into the username field in Edit profile — the app tells you immediately whether it is available.
Why does it not offer Cyrillic?+
Because the username does not accept it. Russian words are transliterated — тихая сова becomes tihaya_sova. Cyrillic belongs in the name field.
